It’s been hot work in Bozeman’s sizzling summer. But dry soils have aided the pace of construction, instantly absorbing the heavy downpour that came as August began. This is the first of three phases of construction at Bridger View. Twenty-three homes will be ready for purchase by late Spring 2022. Ultimately the mixed-income neighborhood, which is designed to facilitate walking and biking and make efficient use of land, water, and energy, will have a total of 62 homes.
From blank slate to a surface starting to resemble a box of chocolates, the site of the future Bridger View neighborhood is becoming three-dimensional. Workers are excavating three foundations at a time, pouring walls and basement floors, and now are cutting lumber. Homes will begin rising later this month. As many as 14 homes will be taking shape by the end of August.
